About the Role
As Restaurant Manager, you’ll take overall responsibility for the daily operation of the restaurant, ensuring exceptional service standards while creating a positive working environment for both guests and staff.
This is a hands-on management position where you’ll be expected to lead by example, maintain high operational standards and continuously look for ways to improve both the customer experience and team performance.
You’ll be joining an established team, many of whom have been with the business for a number of years. Because of this, success in the role will depend not only on your operational ability but also on your leadership style. The ideal candidate will be someone who earns trust naturally, communicates with respect and creates a positive culture where people genuinely enjoy coming to work.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee the day-to-day running of the restaurant.
- Lead, motivate and develop the front-of-house team.
- Deliver exceptional customer service and maintain consistently high standards.
- Ensure smooth daily operations and service.
- Monitor staffing levels and support rota planning.
- Handle guest feedback professionally and proactively.
- Work closely with the kitchen team to ensure excellent communication between departments.
- Maintain company standards, procedures and compliance.
- Support the continued growth and success of the business.
About You
To be successful in this role, you’ll ideally have:
- Previous experience as a Restaurant Manager or in a similar senior hospitality management position.
- Strong leadership and people management skills.
- A calm, collaborative and approachable management style.
- Excellent organisational and communication skills.
- A passion for hospitality and delivering exceptional guest experiences.
- The ability to perform well under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
- A proactive attitude with excellent problem-solving abilities.
- Fluent/Professional level in both Portuguese and English
