PROPERTY MAINTENANCE TECHNICIAN / HANDYMAN
Location: Olhos de Água & Boliqueime, Algarve
Position Type: Full-Time
Salary: €1,300 gross per month.
Hours: Full-Time (Days Off: Wednesday & Sunday)

We are currently recruiting for a Property Maintenance Technician / Handyman to join a growing property management operation supporting a portfolio of private
villas and holiday homes across the Algarve.
This is a hands-on role suited to a practical, self-motivated individual with experience across general property maintenance, fault finding, repairs, and preventative maintenance.
The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring properties are maintained to a high standard, with a strong focus on preparation and preventative works to minimise emergency callouts and reactive maintenance.
Key Responsibilities:
• Conducting property inspections for guest check-ins and check-outs
• Carrying out general maintenance across occupied and vacant properties
• Responding to maintenance issues and emergency callouts when required
• Completing scheduled preventative maintenance works
• Basic electrical fault finding and fixture replacement
• Basic plumbing repairs and troubleshooting
• Painting, rendering, silicone work, and general property upkeep
• Appliance checks and minor repairs
• Identifying potential maintenance issues before they become larger problems
• Managing workload independently and prioritising tasks effectively
• Maintaining excellent presentation standards across all properties
Candidate Profile:
• Previous experience in property maintenance, handyman services, villa maintenance, facilities, or similar environments
• Practical knowledge of basic plumbing, electrical work, painting, and general repairs
• Ability to work independently and manage responsibilities without constant supervision
• Strong problem-solving skills and proactive approach to maintenance
• Reliable, organised, and trustworthy
• Portuguese and/or English language skills
• Full driving licence and own transport required (car provided for use during shift)
Package:
• €1,300 gross monthly salary + daily meal allowance
• Additional hours paid separately
