Algarve Staff is recruiting an experienced Senior Architect on behalf of an established, design-led architectural practice based in Almancil, specialising in high-end residential, hospitality and bespoke architectural projects.
We are seeking a confident, technically accomplished professional who can take ownership of architectural projects from initial concept through technical development and delivery.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead architectural projects from concept through technical development and execution.
- Develop high-quality architectural designs and detailed technical solutions.
- Coordinate consultants, contractors and multidisciplinary design teams.
- Oversee technical documentation, project information and construction detailing.
- Liaise directly with clients, presenting design proposals and managing project expectations.
- Work closely with the Partners and wider studio team to ensure design quality and successful project delivery.
Requirements:
- Approximately 7+ years of relevant professional architectural experience. (non determining factor)
- Strong professional proficiency in Archicad — essential.
- Fluency or professional level in both Portuguese and English — essential.
- Strong architectural design, technical detailing and construction knowledge.
- Proven ability to coordinate projects, consultants and technical information.
- Excellent communication, presentation and leadership skills.
- Experience in high-end residential, hospitality or similarly design-led projects is highly desirable.
- Ability to work from the Almancil studio.
