HANDYMAN / GARDENER – ALGARVE (MONCHIQUE AREA)
We are seeking a versatile and practical Handyman/Gardener to support a large rural property undergoing renovation, landscaping, and long-term development into a self-
sufficient, nature-based estate.
Role Overview
This is a hands-on, varied position combining gardening, maintenance, renovation, and construction support across a 13-hectare property. The role is ideal for someone who enjoys
physical, practical work in a rural environment with evolving daily tasks.
Key Responsibilities
• General property maintenance and repairs
• Gardening, landscaping, and land development
• Support with renovation, demolition, and construction work
• Seasonal outdoor and agricultural tasks
• Basic infrastructure and upkeep of buildings
• Occasional vehicle cleaning (approx. once per month)
Working Hours
• April–October: 08:00–13:00 & 15:00–18:00
November–March: 08:30–13:00 & 14:00–17:30
• Days off: Saturday & Sunday
Candidate Profile
• Experience in handyman, maintenance, gardening, or construction work
• Practical, adaptable, and solution-focused mindset
• Comfortable with physical outdoor work
• Flexible and willing to take on varied tasks
• Experience preferred but strong motivation is highly valued

• Salary: Up to €24,000 gross/year (all-inclusive)
