Sales Manager – Albufeira

Our client, a leading name in smart home technology is currently seeking a sales manager to join their well established team on a full time, permanent basis in Albufeira.

The role –

Responsible for Customer Success and Service Excellence across the Algarve region.

Customer Acquisition and Retention: Design and implement strategies for customer acquisition and retention, increasing customer base by 50% and achieving a 25% customer retention rate.

Network Expansion: Implement new strategies for increasing customer network and foster new relationships with potential customers, architects, estate agents, property management companies and interior designers to generate sales opportunities and revenue growth.

Revenue Growth Initiatives: Identify and pursue new revenue streams, aiming for a 50% growth in annual revenue.

New Customer On-boarding: Receive initial enquiries from general admin, open new customer file, schedule customer visits. Gather data on marketing stream source that initiated the enquiry to the marketing team, if not already done by admin receiving initial enquiry.

Sales Attendance and Quoting: Attend customer visits, gather customer requirements and based on those requirements, prepare customer quote for new projects. Forward customer quote in a prompt and timely manner after internal review/approval within 24-48 hours.

Sales Communication: Conduct all customer communications regarding sales and oversee

handover of accepted quotes to operations admin/technical manager for job scheduling.

Communications to include quote follow-up, quote recovery, queries and resolution.

Quote Recovery: Implement a quote recovery process and ensure quote recovery is initiated after 2 days from initial quote sent to customer. Target 40% recovery to achieve overall 60% conversions of all quotes.

Sales Reporting: Produce and present a weekly sales report to the owners/general manager covering number of quote enquiries received, number of quotes attended, number of quotes accepted/not accepted, number of quote recoveries initiated, and quote recoveries won/accepted. Include in the report reasons why quotes are not accepted for process improvement/offering and pricing reviews.

Team Communication and Marketing Support

Communication: Ensure open lines of communication with operations admin to understand schedule availability to manage customer expectations.

Marketing Support: Co-ordinate with marketing team and owners to understand best revenue streams. To include reporting which marketing avenues are generating the most enquiries and then scale these up and down as the data determines.

Contract – Full time, permanent position with contract provided

Salary – 1,500 p/m base salary + 5 % commission on generated revenue

Language required – Must speak fluent English, Portuguese a bonus.
