Lead Electrical Technician – Ferreiras
Our client who owns a smart home technology installation company is currently seeking an experienced electrical technician to join their team on a full time permanent basis.
The role and responsibilities –
Technical Expertise and Quality Control-
Installation Leadership: Lead and execute high-quality installations, targeting zero
errors in system setups and aiming for 100% client satisfaction.
Mentorship and Training: On-board, mentor and train new technicians in installation
basics and customer facing skills, ensuring they achieve full proficiency within 3
months.
Technician Leadership: Management of technicians for each job. Management of tools required for team/technicians for each team, co-ordination with admin in terms of schedule, jobs, technicians required and stock for upcoming jobs.
Problem Solving: On-the-job problem solving for and with technicians. Report and
escalate any problems the team cannot solve themselves on-site to admin and/or
technical manager.
Client Interaction and Support –
Client Onboarding: Directly manage client onboarding during installations, ensuring a seamless and positive experience. This includes Day 1 Briefing of planned activities to the client, or their representative, and ongoing communication as required throughout the job for planned/unplanned deviations from schedule and planned completion dates for each stage.
Client Handover: Manage the handover process to the client, or their representative, to ensure that all installed systems and processes, apps and tools are understood and can be used by the receiver. Conduct Q&A to ensure everything is understood and capture signature and review from the customer for job completion/acceptance.
Feedback and Improvement: Gather client feedback post-installation to continuously improve service quality and feed into overall client satisfaction survey.
General –
Quality assurance: Ensure Quality Assurance of all aspects of installations.
Co-ordination with admin: Job scheduling, stock required for each job and daily requirements to be co-ordinated with admin. Also, tool scheduling for jobs. Coordinate with admin on Fridays all tools, vans, stock required for jobs for the next week. Co-ordinate start times with admin and communicate to technicians.
