Job Description
Our client is seeking a capable and organized individual to run our laundry operations for the upcoming summer season. In this role, you will manage the laundry area on your own, and when the laundry is quiet, step in to support our general housekeeping team.
Your Responsibilities:
- Operating commercial washing machines and a rotary iron safely and efficiently.
- Washing, drying, ironing, and professionally folding linens and garments.
- Preparing and organizing laundry bags for the housekeeping team to collect.
- Acting as a backup to the general housekeeping team during slower laundry periods.
- Keeping the laundry workspace clean, organized, and running smoothly.
What We Are Looking For:
- NO ACCOMMODATION PROVIDED: You must already live locally in or around Lagos.
- Experience: Prior experience is highly ideal. (Refresher training can be given for commercial washing machines and a rotary iron).
- Language: Basic spoken English is required.
- Work Ethic: Reliable, independent, and flexible enough to switch between laundry and housekeeping tasks as needed.
Whats On Offer:
- Salary: €920.00 / month (Net pay / After deductions).
- Allowances: Proportional Holiday allowance and Christmas allowance (based on months of effective service).
- Hours: 40 hours per week (9:00 AM – 6:00 PM with a 1-hour lunch break).
- Days Off: 2 days off per week (Specific days off will vary depending on the week’s schedule).
- Bonus Opportunity: Possibility of picking up extra hours working at our events.
