Junior Real Estate Sourcing & Acquisition Associate (Algarve)
Our client who is a young and ambitious real estate development team based in the Algarve, focused on identifying unique residential development opportunities at an early stage. Our company operates in a fast-moving, entrepreneurial environment where initiative, creativity, and real-world action matter more than corporate routines.
They are looking for a driven, outgoing and hands-on individual who enjoys being in the field, talking to people, and uncovering opportunities others don’t see. This is not a desk-only role — you will actively explore areas, visit sites, speak with locals and property owners, and help them identify off-market and early-stage development projects.
This role works with clear annual targets for sourcing and qualifying development opportunities and plays a key role in building our long-term project pipeline.
Key Responsibilities
- Actively source real estate opportunities in the Algarve region
- Visit areas in person and speak directly with property owners, developers, and local stakeholders
- Identify off-market or early-stage property and land development opportunities
- Follow up on leads and maintain a structured deal pipeline
- Conduct online research and manage basic CRM tracking and communication
- Think creatively about deal structures and acquisition strategies
- Support the development team in evaluating potential projects
Ideal Candidate Profile
- Strong communication skills (English and Portuguese are required)
- Confident approaching people face-to-face; not afraid of door-to-door outreach
- Commercially minded with a natural sense for opportunity and negotiation
- Self-driven, independent, and results-oriented
- Comfortable working without micromanagement
- Creative thinker who enjoys problem-solving and deal-making
- Background in real estate, business development, sales, or sourcing is a strong plus
